During her decade-long tenure as American Vogue's Style Director,
Elissa Santisi emerged as fashion's pre-eminent accessories stylist. Santisi, a Philadelphia native, has created stories which are wittily inventive and strikingly original. Her eye has meant that she has often been ahead of the curve on new trends, and her work has always recognized the iconic power of the right shoe and bag, predating todayıs obsession with "it" status accessories.
In her 20-year career, Santisi has done innumerable fashion, accessory, celebrity and beauty sittings for American Vogue, Teen Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, where she began her enormously successful working partnership with Raymond Meier. Other photographers that she has worked with include Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Steven Meisel, Steven Klein, David Sims, Miles Aldridge, Mert and Marcus, Patrick Demarchelier, Elaine Constantine, Michael Thompson and Peter Lindbergh.
Elissa Santisi currently resides in New York. |
