Inge Fonteyne was born in Antwerp, Belgium. After relocating to America she attended the University of Hartford where she earned an art degree. She later enrolled at Parson’s School of Design to study fashion illustration. Inge landed her first job at Vogue where she stayed for five years; she was later appointed senior fashion editor at Elle. Today Inge is a much sought-after fashion, advertising and celebrity stylist with a thriving freelance career.

Inge’s work has been featured in leading fashion magazines including Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, Glamour, Flair, Elle, New York Magazine, Jane and Esquire - where she has styled two classic covers - Britney Spears in 2003 and the January 2008 75th Anniversary cover featuring Adrianna Lima, Karolina Korkova, Selita Ebanks and Izabel Goulart. In addition to her editorial work Inge frequently styles advertising campaigns for Elizabeth Arden with actress Catherine Zeta-Jones. She also styles campaigns for Tiffany, Stephen Knoll, Laura Mercier, Maybelline, Cover Girl, Estee Lauder, John Frieda, Matrix, Garnier, Cosme Decorte, Intimissimi, Victoria’s Secret Beauty, Speedo, Armani Jeans, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Liz Claiborne, The Limited and Got Milk?.

It is no surprise that Inge has collaborated with some of the world’s top photographers among them Michael Thompson, Patrick Demarchelier, Ellen von Unwerth, Steven Klein, Arthur Elgort, Peggy Sirota, Marc Baptiste, Phil Poynter, Pamela Hanson, Greg Kadel, Raphael Mazzucco, James White, Mark Abrahams, Andrew Eccles, Russell James, Diego Uchitel, Max Vadukul, Antoine Verglas, Stewart Shining, Mark Seliger and Bryan Adams.

Inge is a talented runway consultant and recently styled the spring 2008 Vogue/Clairol presentation featuring designer Miguelina; she also styled the spring 2007 Vogue “First Look” fashion show with looks from a number of high-end designers. Prior experience included the VH1-Vogue Fashion Award show, which she styled for four years and the Reem Acra spring 2005 show at New York fashion week.

As a celebrity stylist Inge is always in demand and over the years she has styled Catherine Zeta-Jones, Scarlet Johansson, Kate Beckinsale, Gwyneth Paltrow, Hilary Swank, Cameron Diaz, Kyra Sedgwick, Renee Zellweger, Keri Russell, Lindsay Lohan, Liv Tyler, Ashley Olsen, Mary-Kate Olsen, Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, Jennifer Aniston, Ashley Judd, Julia Roberts, Sarah Jessica Parker, Demi Moore, Deborah Harry, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Mariska Hargitay, Christy Brinkley and Woody Allen.
