Born and raised in Germany, Christian started his hair stylist career in Stuttgart and moved to Paris in 2000 to express his talent through studio work.

The extraordinary passion for his work and the sensibility towards beauty allowed Christian to split his work between Paris, London and New York to collaborate with a wide range of top photographers, including Anoushka Blommers and Nils Schumm, Katja Rahlwes, Mariano Vivanco, Mark Pillai, Milan Vukmirovich, Harri Peccinotti, Jacob Sutton, Patrick Shaw and Peter Lindbergh.

His editorial work has appeared in Purple Fashion, Self service, Dazed and Confused, i-D, Visionaire and Vogue (Germany, China, Russia, India, Spain and Australia).

Christian's advertising campaigns include Louis Vuitton, Trussardi, Sonia Rykiel, le Bon Marché, Bedat, Patek Philippe, Hugo Boss, Armani, Joop, Cacharel, Leonard and Garnier.

He has also overseen art direction on a number of fashion shows such as Louis Vuitton Man, Yohji Yamamoto Homme, Junya Watanabe Man,Trussardi, Ferragamo and Krizia.

Christian is currently based in Paris.
