Stéphane Pelletier was born in Paris in 1969 but was mostly raised in the countryside among dogs, a donkey and a goat.
He learned photography on his own, travelling and living in different cities such as Tokyo, Miami and San Paulo where he started as a fashion photographer working for Calvin Klein and Vogue.
Stéphane now has a significant career and is one of the leading creative still life photographers.
Stéphane Pelletier’s client list includes Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Dior, Jil Sander, Louis Vuitton, Shiseido, Lancôme, Serge Lutens, Givenchy, Cerruti, Kérastase, Biotherm, Kenzo, David Yurman, Clarins, Paco Rabanne and has collaborated with leading éditorial publications such as Numéro and V.
He is also a notable inventor having patented a number of hi-tech inventions for the surf and skate industry. Three of his inventions will appear in a book to be published in 2010 by famous journalist Ben Marcus about Surf and Skate history.
Stéphane separates his time between Paris and San Diego with his family.
